Lord asked me a question and you know how that is only you know Lord. He asked me if I had ever wondered why the first miracle Jesus did was turning water into wine, I answered no Lord never thought about it He then answered me that He had to because it represents His Blood, so here is how the Lord it down to me over the past week.

John 2:1-11

On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.”

Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” Now there were set there six water pots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece Jesus said to them, “Fill the water pots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it. When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!” This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

I will lead you the same way the Lord led me.

Water into wine, When Jesus took communion with His disciples during the Passover

Matt. 26:28  Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

So He states that the Wine represents His Blood.  Now what did the Priest do with the Blood after the sacrifice of the lamb the priest would then sprinkle it on the Mercy.

When Jesus went to the Father He took his Blood that was shed for us to the Mercy seat to pay for the atonement forever.  ( Heb 4 calls Jesus our Great High Priest) the sacrificing of the Lamb and the sprinkling of the Blood was their job. so it was also Jesus')

When the water pots were full the servants took the water to the Master of ceremonies which represents the Father, the Master called the Groom (Jesus is our Groom) the Master told the Groom you saved the best Wine for last, the best Blood shed for the remissions of sin is the Blood of Jesus. The Lord then pointed out to me that the Miracle that turned a common thing into Wine that would be used to remember the New Covenant of His Blood was done at a Wedding Ceremony, a covenant ceremony.

You see it all was to point to the Covenant that would be complete with His Blood being presented to the Father once and for all freeing us from death. Our Groom was told by the Father He was the Best that was served at the end of the covenant ceremony, the end of one life style but the beginning of a New Covenant partnership. WOW!!

The Blood of Jesus and it's covenant....
